7/02/25 | Rangers' Nathan Eovaldi credits 'mechanical adjustments' for strong outing vs. Orioles. Texas Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi started his second game since being activated from the Injured List last week, throwing 72 pitches over five scoreless innings. “I felt strong towards the end,” Eovaldi said. “I made a few mechanical adjustments from the last outing to this one, and I feel like they helped out a lot.” The 6-0 win against the Baltimore Orioles was Eovaldi's 14th of the season and his fifth win. 6/28/25 | Nathan Eovaldi Shows Some Rust in Return to Texas Rangers Rotation. Nathan Eovaldi clearly has some rust to shake off. The 35-year-old right-hander returned to the Texas Rangers starting rotation on Friday and threw three innings in a 7-6, 12-inning loss to the Seattle Mariners at Globe Life Field. Before the game, the Rangers activated him and sent Dane Dunning back to Triple-A Round Rock. Texas had some necessity in activating Eovaldi, even though he didn't go through a rehab assignment and hadn't pitched in a game since May 27 when he left a start after two innings with what was later diagnosed as right posterior elbow inflammation. 6/27/25 | Texas Rangers Activate Star Pitcher Nathan Eovaldi from Injured List. The Texas Rangers announced on Friday that the team has activated starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi from the injured list. Eovaldi rejoins the active roster having been on the injured list since June 1 with an injury to his tricep muscle, and he is set to take the mound for a key divisional showdown against the Seattle Mariners on Friday night. It's perfect timing for the Rangers, who find themselves a game and a half behind Seattle for second place in the American League West division as well as for the League's third and final wild card spot. 6/27/25 | Rangers' Nathan Eovaldi back against Mariners for key AL West battle. The Texas Rangers hope to get a lift from the return of ace pitcher Nathan Eovaldi when they clash with the Seattle Mariners on Friday night in the opener of a key three-game series in Arlington, Texas. Eovaldi (4-3, 1.56 ERA) will return to the mound to start for the Rangers after missing almost a month with right triceps fatigue. At the midpoint of the season, it's a crucial series for both teams as they seek to not fall further behind the Houston Astros. The Mariners are 6 1/2 games back in the American League West, with the Rangers eight back. Source: https://www.reuters.com/sports/baseball/rangers-na... |
