5/13/10	Left-hander José Mijares was activated from the 15-day DL on Wednesday.
4/18/10	The Minnesota Twins placed LHP Jose Mijares on the 15-Day disabled list retroactive to April 16th with a strained left elbow.
3/31/10	Mijares was going to be one of the guys in the Twins' new closer-by-committee set-up, but keep an eye on his blurred vision problem. He's going to pitch through it, and has ruled out the idea of surgery at least until after the season, but you have to wonder how this will affect his control.
3/10/10	Mijares disappointed the team by showing up late to camp and out of shape for the second consecutive season, but should be in the thick of the closer competition in Minnesota now that Joe Nathan is out for the foreseeable future. If nothing else, as one of the primary set-up men, he should be valuable in fantasy leagues that use Holds and value middle relievers.
