8/24/10	The Cubs activated Geovany Soto from the 15-day disabled list before Monday's game against the Nationals and inserted the catcher, who had been sidelined with a sprained ligament in his right shoulder, into the starting lineup.
8/22/10	Soto is expected to be activated from the DL today.
8/08/10	Cubs catcher Geovany Soto was not available to play in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Reds because of a mild ligament sprain in his right shoulder. Soto's shoulder bothers him when he's hitting, not throwing. He was not expected back in the Cubs' lineup until Monday at the earliest.
7/27/10	Cubs catcher Geovany Soto is day-to-day after fouling a ball off his left foot in the third inning of Monday night's 5-2 win over the Astros. Soto had another at-bat in the sixth and was then lifted on defense. He tried to stay in the game, but his foot stiffened up, and the Cubs athletic trainers decided treatment was a better option. The ball hit him in the arch of his foot.
