Veteran left-hander Francisco Liriano has reached a minor league deal with the Toronto Blue Jays with an invite to spring training, the Toronto Sun and Sportsnet reported. Liriano, 37, will earn $1.5 million if he makes the club, plus performance bonuses, per the reports. He did not pitch last season after getting released by Philadelphia in July ahead of Opening Day.
