8/08/10Bedard had bone spurs removed from his left shoulder Friday. "It’s good to get it over with. I mean, they found what it was and it’s going to be an easy rehab compared to last year," he said. "I’m going to have a normal throwing off-season, so I’ll be ready by spring. Easy."
8/07/10Bedard underwent another shoulder surgery on Friday. "Guys have come back [from similar surgery]," manager Don Wakamatsu said. "Gil Meche has come back and been effective, and we're hoping [Bedard] is able to pitch again."
7/25/10Bedard is heading to New York to get a third opinion on his shoulder.
7/21/10Bedard said that he is likely done for the season after an MRI on his surgically repaired shoulder showed some trouble spots. The team and Bedard did not elaborate on the results of the MRI, but Bedard said that he was "probably" done for the season.
7/16/10Bedard felt discomfort while playing catch yesterday. He will undergo an MRI or CT scan in a few days to see if there's anything seriously wrong.
7/11/10Bedard played catch today and will throw a bullpen session next weekend. He will also probably have a minor league rehab assignment after that as he continues his recovery from shoulder surgery.
7/07/10Bedard will throw a bullpen session this weekend and hopes to return to action after the All-Star break.

5/19/10Bedard suffered a setback in his most recent workout and was transferred to the 60-day DL. There is no solid timetable for his return now.
5/07/10Bedard threw a pain-free bullpen session on Wednesday and expects to throw a simulated game early next week.
3/31/10The M's placed Bedard on the 15-Day DL, retroactive to March 26, but continues to pitch off a mound, and could return to the parent club as early as early May.
3/22/10The M's scratched a bullpen session for Bedard that was supposed to happen tomorrow (3/23). He probably won't pitch in the big leagues until at least late May.
