5/03/10	Aaron Rowand termed his first Giants turn on the disabled list "frustrating." The frustration ends when he is activated today, 16 days after the Dodgers' Vicente Padilla fractured three bones in Rowand's face with a fastball. Rowand's return could not hurt an offense that averaged 5.9 runs a game before he went on the DL and 3.7 since then. He is hitting .304.
4/18/10	San Francisco Giants center fielder Aaron Rowand will be placed on the 15-day disabled list with two small fractures in his left cheek and a mild concussion after he was hit with a fastball by Dodgers right-hander Vicente Padilla.

3/15/10	The Giants center fielder has been bothered by tightness in his left quadriceps for about a week. He has managed to play through the discomfort, but he said that the injury "grabbed him" while he chased a fly ball in the seventh inning of Sunday's 10-8 exhibition loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. Thus, manager Bruce Bochy plans to rest Rowand for a couple of days.
