Rauch changed roles from closer to setup man with the trade of Matt Capps to the Twins. Rauch had a 5.40 ERA in nine appearances this month. He has 21 saves (out of 25 opportunities) on the year.

Rauch converted his 20th save of the season on July 11 at Detroit, but has not had a save opportunity since.
7/20/10
Rauch (ankle) will miss a couple games after taking a comebacker off his right ankle Monday. He remained in the game, but his ankle swelled considerably afterwards. X-rays came back negative.
7/11/10
Rauch pitched a scoreless ninth inning in Detroit for his 20th save in 24 tries.
4/02/10
So much for closer by committee: the Twins have announced that Jon Rauch will be the team's closer going into the regular season. Time to snatch him up in fantasy leagues if he's still available.
3/12/10
Twins skipper Ron Gardenhire indicated Pat Neshek is not in the running for the closer job at this point, which may mean that Jon Rauch's nice spring (3 perfect innings, 3K) could lead to him closing games heading into the regular season.
3/10/10
Rauch could play a greater role in the Twins bullpen with the loss of Joe Nathan to injury, but he is still unlikely to close games or even be a regular 8th inning man.
