8/07/25 Marlins' Agustin Ramirez is 3rd player in MLB history with rare homer-steal feat. Agustin Ramirez has taken Major League Baseball by storm. Even playing for the Miami Marlins, a place someone could often fly under the radar, Ramirez has stood out for the way he has started his career. On Wednesday night, he made some history, too. Ramirez had the second multi-steal game of his career. He already has three multi-homer games. He's only the third player to have three multi-HR games and two multi-SB games before playing 90 career games, per OptaStats . Ramirez did it in his 89th career game, the same total that Darryl Strawberry did. Duke Kenworthy once did it in 88 games. 8/01/25 The Marlins are the Best Story in Baseball, and You're Missing It. The Miami Marlins just keep winning, and it's about time we start taking them seriously. You haven't been watching as the Marlins have gone 28-14 over their last 42 games, the best record in the majors over that span. Much of Miami's magic was on full display Friday night, as the Marlins rallied from a 6-0 deficit to beat the New York Yankees by a score of 13-12 on a walkoff swinging bunt by Agustin Ramirez. After scoring four runs in the fifth inning to close the gap to 6-4, the Marlins watched as the Yankees responded with three more runs in the seventh to go up 9-4.
