The Rumble Ponies host the Hartford Yard Goats in Game 3 of the 6 game series. Megill's been a part of the Mets organization since being drafted out of the University of Arizona in 2018. The right-hander made 5 starts for the Rumble Ponies on his way up to the Majors. Megill's spent the last 4 seasons as a Met, starting 53 ballgames. He is 17-17 in the bigs, with a 4.68 ERA. | 4/01/24 | Tylor Megill injury: Mets place SP on 15-day IL with strained shoulder. The New York Mets could not go one full time through their starting rotation in 2024 before another injury cropped up, the team announcing on Monday that it has placed Tylor Megill on the 15-day injured list due to a right shoulder strain. In a corresponding move, the Mets recalled relief pitcher Reed Garrett from Triple-A Syracuse. Megill lasted just four innings in his season debut on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers — a 4-1 loss to drop New York to 0-3 — before exiting because he was “a little bit tender in his shoulder area,” according to bench coach John Gibbons, who took over for manager Carlos Mendoza while he served a one-game suspension.
