3/31/24 'We couldn't see': Jazz Chisholm irked by Marlins' open roof. Stuck in a four-game losing streak to start the season, and fresh off a playoff appearance the year before, Miami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. addressed the club's decision to open the retractable roof on top of loanDepot Park this weekend. The park's roof was open for three of four games against the Pirates, the last of which completed a Pittsburgh sweep as the Marlins fell  9-7 in extra innings Sunday afternoon. "That we couldn't see," Chisholm said after Sunday's loss, when asked what made the Pirates relief pitchers such a challenge in the series. Chisholm hit a grand slam in the loss, but all told in the series, Miami was outscored 31-17.
