8/16/22 Game 119 Preview: Tigers look to build on doubleheader split on Tuesday. The Detroit Tigers finally snapped their losing streak which extended to eight games before prevailing over the Cleveland Guardians in the nightcap of a Monday doubleheader. 7/30/22 Game 102 Preview: Tigers look to take control in Great White North. The Detroit Tigers found their mojo on Friday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, scoring a 4-2 win on the road to even things up in the four-game weekend series. 7/29/22 Blue Jays bats don't roar against Tigers in 4-2 loss. Tigers 4 at Blue Jays 2 Facing a pitcher just up from AAA (and who hasn’t even really been starting), the Jays bats failed to capitalize early and then completely disappeared against the Tigers bullpen as they only managed four hits and none after the 5th inning. Bryan Garcia held the Jays in check long enough for the Tiger bats to get to Alek Manoah, who was more hittable than usual.

Hell no,” said Garcia, when asked if he’d ever even imagined it. If you would’ve told me at the beginning of the year I would’ve said you were nuts.
