2/06/25 San Francisco Giants Ace Named Top 50 Player Right Now by MLB Network. MLB Network is currently in the midst of unveiling its Top 100 Right Now rankings ahead of the start of the 2025 season, and Wednesday night's new batch of rankings showed the respect that San Francisco Giants ace Logan Webb has built up in league circles. After a season in which he hurled 204.2 innings pitched while allowing only a 3.47 ERA across 33 starts, MLB Network ranked Webb as the No. 50 overall player in the league today. Webb has spent the past half decade establishing himself as one of the most reliable starting pitchers in the game. With that elite level of availability, Webb has also generated results that place him among the elite ranks of the game's hurlers.

1/12/25 San Francisco Giants Starting Rotation Has Depth, Incredible Upside. The San Francisco Giants have one of the most reliable aces in baseball with Logan Webb anchoring their rotation. After losing Blake Snell in free agency to the Los Angeles Dodgers, they could certainly use another top-end starter. Jack Flaherty would be an excellent target, especially with his willingness to accept a short-term deal, similar to how the team landed Snell ahead of 2024. The only addition the team has made to the starting rotation thus far this offseason is veteran Justin Verlander, who struggled with staying healthy and effective on the mound this past campaign.

12/20/24 San Francisco Giants Checked In On Cy Young Winner Before He Re-Signed. The San Francisco Giants are the subject of numerous rumors in the free agent pitching market just ahead of Christmas as they look to add a second ace to the top of the rotation to join Logan Webb. Naturally, much of that conversation revolves around the top name on the market in Baltimore Orioles superstar ace Corbin Burnes, who the Giants have been seen as a serious contender to land and potentially even the favorite. As the 2021 National League Cy Young takes his time and works his way through negotiations, likely not expected to sign until after Christmas, a report has been revealed that San Francisco had at least some interest in another former Cy Young winner.

12/16/24 Why Webb views Burnes as ‘perfect match' atop Giants rotation. Logan Webb believes free-agent pitcher Corbin Burnes would be the "perfect" complement to him atop the San Francisco Giants' rotation.

12/15/24 San Francisco Giants' Logan Webb is MLB's Workhorse Past Three Years. In baseball most teams hope their starting pitchers can go at least six innings. With the San Francisco Giants, they have one of the most durable starters in the game in Logan Webb. In fact Webb is so durable and it's so capable of getting deep into games that no pitcher in baseball has thrown more innings than him the past three seasons. The Giants touted that fact on social media this weekend.
