6/30/25 | Seahawks insider believes Mike Macdonald could make shocking OL change. In 2024, only the offensive front of the New England Patriots received a lower grade from Pro Football Focus than the Seattle Seahawks. Interesting enough, Ben Rolfe of Pro Football Sports Network ranked the offensive fronts in 2025 for all 32 clubs back in late April. While Zabel is expected to be the starter at left guard next to tackle Charles Cross, and Abraham Lucas (if healthy) should hold down the right tackle spot, there are uncertainties elsewhere. 6/30/25 | Rookie Elijah Arroyo predicted to have big role for Seahawks even if not TE1. The Seattle Seahawks entered the 2025 NFL draft with 10 selections, and wound up drafting 11 players. With their second choice in Round 2, general manager John Schneider gave new starting quarterback Sam Darnold another weapon, who happens to be coming off his best collegiate season. With the assumption that guard Grey Zabel already has a starting job, he was asked what other rookies could be opening week starters, and who those players would replace. “While tight end Elijah Arroyo might not be considered the No. 1 tight end in his first season, the Seahawks will use enough multiple tight end sets that he could very well still have a big role.” Source: https://www.si.com/nfl/seahawks/rookie-elijah-arro... |

6/30/25 | Will the Seahawks Challenge the Rams for the NFC West?. The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks were the predominant powers in the NFC West last season. If not for Demarcus Robinson and Kamren Kinchens, Mike Macdonald might have won the division in his first year as head coach. The Seahawks made a bunch of moves this offseason, with CBS Sports' Jared Dubin illustrating how Seattle can win the West in 2025. Source: https://www.si.com/nfl/rams/los-angeles-cooper-kup... |
6/29/25 | Seattle Seahawks insider predicts 2025 NFL draft pick won't make 53-man roster. After 14 years with Pete Carroll at the helm, the Seattle Seahawks' switch to Mike Macdonald as their new head coach last year came as a bit of a culture shock. One of the major changes came at running back, where Carroll had historically rostered four players for the regular season. When the initial 53-man roster came out, Macdonald only had three: starter Ken Walker, backup Zach Charbonnet and Kenny McIntosh. If the Seahawks once again only roll with three running backs, then Bob Condotta at the Seattle Times expects rookie seventh-round draft pick Damien Martinez out of Miami to be the odd man out.
