5/16/24 Seattle Seahawks 2024 Schedule: Way-Too-Early Game Predictions. Officially ushering in a new season, the NFL announced regular season schedules for the Seattle Seahawks and all 32 teams on Wednesday, creating a sense of euphoria for players, fans, and reporters alike. Heading into year one under coach Mike Macdonald, the Seahawks drew four prime time games, headlined by home games against the 49ers and Packers. Seattle also drew a much more favorable bye week than a year ago, as the team will get time off before a rematch on the road with San Francisco in Week 11, though that game will be the first of five road contests in the last eight weeks of the season. Much like two years ago, the Seahawks eek out a tight, low-scoring win against a Broncos squad breaking in a rookie quarterback in Bo Nix, who throws a pair of interceptions in the second half to help Macdonald earn his first victory as an NFL head coach.

5/16/24 Ravens 2024 schedule: Ranking all 17 games from easiest (Broncos) to hardest (Chiefs). Last season, the Ravens finished with the NFL's best regular-season record (13-4) and reached the AFC championship game. In addition to several coaching changes — most notably the departure of defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald to become the coach of the Seattle Seahawks — and the loss of several players in free agency, Baltimore will play a first-place schedule for the first time since 2020. The Ravens' 2024 slate features eight teams that made the playoffs last season.

5/15/24 Which Seahawks rookies will make an immediate impact?. The NFL Draft has proven to be a fruitful avenue of roster improvement for the Seattle Seahawks in recent years. Will new OC Ryan Grubb unlock these Seattle Seahawks players? Over the past two drafts, the Seahawks have found a number of starters and contributors on both sides of the ball. In 2022, the Seahawks selected a pair of starting tackles in Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas, an electric running back in Kenneth Walker II and a fifth-round gem in cornerback Riq Woolen.

5/15/24 REPORT: The 49ers Will Play the Kansas City Chiefs Week 7. The 49ers and Chiefs will play Week 7 at Levi's Stadium -- that's Oct. 25 at 1:25 p.m. Pacific Time. The 49ers will be coming off a Week 6 Thursday night game against the Seattle Seahawks, so they will have a couple extra days to rest and prepare for the Chiefs, which is critical because the 49ers never have beaten Patrick Mahomes.

5/14/24 1 undrafted free agent who will make Seahawks' 2024 roster. The Seattle Seahawks kicked off the 2024 NFL Draft with defensive tackle Byron Murphy II and finished with offensive tackle Michael Jerrell. After the draft, the Seahawks didn't stop trying to improve their roster this offseason, though. General manager John Schneider and new Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald also brought in 16 undrafted free agents, and at least one — former Tennessee Volunteer Dee Williams — has a real shot to make the team.

5/14/24 NFL Free Agency: LB Shaq Leonard to Seattle Seahawks?. It's been a weird year for former All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard. Now, he's a free agent once again, and the Seattle Seahawks could make sense for his next destination, according to Bleacher Report's scouting department. Linebacker Shaquille Leonard could be worth a flier, if he's willing to accept a team-friendly "prove-it" deal. The four-time Pro Bowler missed most of 2022 with a back injury, was released by the Colts during the 2023 season and didn't exactly shine during a brief stint with Philadelphia.

5/14/24 Seahawks' Kenneth Walker says NBA players wouldn't have easy transition to NFL: 'It's the other way around'. Austin Rivers, the veteran NBA point guard, sparked a debate on X recently when he said he could take 30 players from the NBA right now to play in the NFL, but it would not happen if football players tried to get on the court. Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III begs to differ. "No," he said bluntly to Fox News Digital while discussing his new partnership with RECOVER 180, an all-new, all-organic sports drink from beverage powerhouse Lance Collins, creator of BODYARMOR, among other drinks.

5/13/24 Former Ohio State quarterback signs with Seahawks. The former preferred walk-on was a Buckeye for two seasons in 2017 and 2018, where he saw no game action. After going undrafted and unsigned for the 2023 season, he spent the year training and looking for another opportunity, which finally came when the Seattle Seahawks invited him to minicamp. Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye and we wish him good luck in the NFL. 5/12/24 Could New Role Unlock Dre'Mont Jones' Full Potential For Seattle Seahawks?. Leading up to the start of rookie minicamp earlier this month, in the aftermath of investing a first-round pick in Texas defensive tackle Byron Murphy II, Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald couldn't be more excited about his new team's defensive line. Joining general manager John Schneider in an interview with Seattle Sports 710, Macdonald gushed about how the addition of Murphy further bolstered an already talented front line featuring Dre'Mont Jones, Jarran Reed, and Leonard Williams.

5/12/24 Ex Seahawks RB Robert Turbin Says Seattle Has League's Best WR Trio. Receiver is becoming more and more of a premium position in the pass-happy modern NFL, a trend the Seattle Seahawks are well aware of. For years, Seattle has had a dynamic receiver duo in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, both Pro Bowl-caliber wideouts. Then in last year's draft, the Seahawks turned that duo into a trio by drafting Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the first round. Now, Geno Smith has three quality pass-catchers to throw to on any given play.

5/12/24 Seahawks had 19 first-round grades for 2024 NFL draft class. For years, the Seattle Seahawks gained a reputation of trading back in the first round, or out of it entirely. This would irk plenty of fans who tuned in for the hours-long television spectacle that is the first round of the NFL draft. It's understandable, the first round is easily the most high profile, and filled with the most recognizable names in college football. In the case of the Seattle Seahawks, Schneider and his people had first round grades on only 19 players, per John Boyle at the team website.

5/11/24 NFL Rumors: Jamal Adams Return Would Only Interest Seahawks If He Were to Play LB. If Jamal Adams returns to the Seattle Seahawks in free agency, it will reportedly require a position change. According to ESPN's Brady Henderson, any interest the Seahawks have in Adams would depend on him agreeing to play weakside linebacker in a part-time role rather than his traditional safety spot. Henderson added that the three-time Pro Bowler would likely have to sign for close to the league minimum as well since the Seahawks only have about $1.5 million in salary cap space.

5/11/24 How Tyrice Knight (and maybe Jamal Adams) fit into Seahawks' new LB corps. Brady Henderson is a reporter for NFL Nation at ESPN. Henderson covers the Seattle Seahawks. RENTON, Wash. -- During their 14 years together with the Seattle Seahawks, John Schneider and Pete Carroll stayed in their respective lanes when it came to handling draft-day questions from reporters. Schneider and new coach Mike Macdonald mostly followed that MO during their first draft together, with one exception.

5/10/24 Analyst: Seattle Seahawks made 'smart decisions' in NFL Draft. The Seattle Seahawks have largely garnered positive reviews for what they did just two weeks ago during the 2024 NFL Draft. Seattle covered multiple positional needs – most notably the offensive line – and by all accounts nailed their first two picks by getting highly regarded players where they needed it most. CBS Sports NFL Draft analyst Josh Edwards recently wrote about one questionable selection each NFL team made during the draft.

5/09/24 Where Does Byron Murphy II Fit Best on Seattle Seahawks' Defensive Line?. The Seattle Seahawks went into the NFL Draft with a plan of attack. With that selection, the Seahawks appear to have a real strength on the defensive line. Last season, the Seahawks were 31st in run defense and 30th in total defense, which doesn't send a signal that it is a strength. Now, the immediate thought is to put Murphy at three-technique on passing downs and he can play at 4i in base packages.
