6/27/25 Jose Berrios, Jays' bats extend Red Sox's skid to 6. Jose Berrios tossed seven scoreless innings to lead the visiting Toronto Blue Jays to a 9-0 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Friday night. Berrios (4-3) limited Boston to four hits, struck out eight and walked one in the opener of a three-game series. Toronto's victory extended Boston's losing streak to six games. It also ended Boston's five-game home winning streak.

6/21/25 Blue Jays homers back up strong pitching in win over White Sox. June 21 - Jose Berrios pitched into the eighth inning, Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. homered and the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the visiting Chicago White Sox 7-1 on Saturday afternoon. Berrios (3-3) allowed one unearned run, two hits and three walks while striking out five in 7 2/3 innings. Davis Schnieder had two hits and three RBIs and Nathan Lukes had two hits and an RBI as Toronto split the first two games of the three-game series. 6/21/25 White Sox chase series win in rematch vs. Blue Jays. With their eight-game losing streak over, the visiting Chicago White Sox will aim to carry the momentum into Saturday afternoon and clinch their three-game series with the Toronto Blue Jays. The White Sox were coming off a disheartening doubleheader loss at home to the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday, but they came out with more energy than the Blue Jays on Friday night. The Blue Jays, who had been on a 12-2 run, have dropped five of their last seven games, including the past two by a combined score of 16-6. Toronto is scheduled to start Jose Berrios (2-3, 3.81 ERA) on Saturday.

6/13/25 Revisiting Blue Jays' Trade for Jose Berrios and If It's Worked Out for Them. As the trade deadline came down to the wire in 2021, the Toronto Blue Jays had a 52-48 record and sat in fourth in the American League East. The Boston Red Sox (63-42), Tampa Bay Rays (62-42), and New York Yankees (54-48) were looking down at the Blue Jays as the July 31 deadline approached. The Minnesota Twins found themselves stuck in the basement of the AL Central with a 43-61 record and a fire sale was imminent. The Twins ended up striking deals with the St. Louis Cardinals, Rays, Red Sox and Blue Jays, shipping out J.A. Happ, Nelson Cruz, Hansel Robles and José Berríos.
