11/05/23 The face of the worst rebuild in sports. The optimism around the team was high, as they just signed (tainted) World Series winner Dallas Keuchel, star catcher Yasmani Grandal and star closer Liam Hendriks. José Abreu was the clubhouse leader, and young potential stars were scattered throughout the team, including Yoán Moncada, Lucas Giolito and top prospects Dylan Cease, Eloy Jiménez and Luis Robert Jr.

9/09/23 Game 142: Mets at Twins. Meet the new Mets, same as the old Mets. New York — a game and a half removed from the cellar of the NL East — has had a well-documented disappointment of a season. Last night, we saw glimpses of why, as an offense once again made Dallas Keuchel look like his Cy Young self, and a defense paid their best tribute to the 2022 Detroit Tigers. In hopes of combining to lower it to a 13, just in time for spooky season, the Twins will deploy Kenta Maeda for his 18th start of the season.

8/12/23 Twins punished in Philadelphia; Keuchel KO’d in second inning of 13-2 loss. PHILADELPHIA – It takes a leap of faith in today's velocity-soaked MLB to believe that 88-mile-per-hour fastballs can retire major league hitters, but Dallas Keuchel converted a few doubters during his 2023 debut Sunday. The Phillies, though, were not convinced. Keuchel retired only four of the 13 batters he faced Friday, while the Phillies punished him with six hits, two walks and a hit ...

8/08/23 Dallas Keuchel's return to majors was a good one for Twins. Dallas Keuchel's road back to the majors made its biggest stop on Sunday when the veteran left-hander started a big league game for the first time in nearly a year. Keuchel didn't get the decision in his first start since Sept. 2, 2022 — or provide the biggest bang, which belonged to Matt Wallner after his two-run, walk-off homer in the ninth.

8/07/23 Matt Wallner goes upper deck, sends Twins to series sweep. After Dallas Keuchel made a successful return to the major leagues on Sunday, it was going to be hard to upstage the veteran left-hander. After Keuchel pitched five strong innings to keep the Twins within striking distance of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Matt Wallner delivered the fireworks with a two-run home run in the ninth to give Minnesota a 5-3 victory in front of an announced crowd of 24,778 at Target Field. The win gave Minnesota a three-game sweep of their interleague opponent, their fifth win in six games and a 4½-game lead on second-place Cleveland in the American League Central — the perfect reward for fans who sat through nine innings on top of a 2-hour, 12-minute rain delay.
