5/14/24 Ranking the Panthers' 2024 Opposing Quarterback Gauntlet. The quarterback is the most discussed, most scrutinized, most analyzed, most difficult, and most important position in professional sports. When the NFL schedule gets released tomorrow evening, Panthers' fans will learn the order in which Bryce Young will face his gauntlet of opposing quarterbacks. Whichever one of these quarterbacks lines up under center against Carolina, they'll be the worst of the bunch. It'll be either Bo Nix, an over-drafted rookie with a limited ceiling, Zach Wilson, the 2nd overall pick in the 2021 draft that flamed out before a spark was even lit, or Jarrett Stidham, a career journeyman dating back to his college days.

5/09/24 CBS Sports Ranks Four Rookie QBs Ahead of Bryce Young. Bryce Young didn't have much of a chance to make a strong first impression in the NFL thanks to the circus he was thrown into. This is ultimately what led to the firing of Frank Reich just a couple of months into the season. According to CBS Sports' first set of QB rankings, Young checks in at No. 31, ahead of Daniel Jones (New York Giants). Putting Young ahead of Jones is interesting, at least at this point in his career.

4/26/24 NFL Draft | Panthers GM says first-round pick Xavier Legette has that 'dog mentality'. DETROIT (WTVD) -- The Panthers gave young quarterback Bryce Young another weapon on Thursday night. Carolina selected wide receiver Xavier Legette out of South Carolina after trading up one spot in the NFL draft to No 32. Legette was the last of seven wide receivers selected in an offensive-heavy first round. The 6-foot-1, 221-pound Legette possesses good size and speed and is coming off a highly productive season with 71 catches for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns for the Gamecocks. He had no more than 18 receptions in a season in his first four years at South Carolina before emerging in 2023. Watch every pick of the second and third rounds beginning at 7 p.m. on ABC11. 4/24/24 Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young goes back to school. Carolina started a voluntary minicamp under coach Dave Canales on Tuesday, and the Panthers' first day on the field with their new leader meant school was in session for the NFL team's quarterback, former Alabama All-American Bryce Young. “There's a process,” Canales said after the workout. “There's a QB school that he's going through, and as we do it, the things he needs specifically to improve on, that's the lens that we look at stuff with.”

4/23/24 Panthers' Diontae Johnson hypes up Bryce Young after coming to Carolina via trade. Now, Johnson is hyping up Bryce Young, his new signal caller and the former number one overall pick out of Alabama. Last year's rookie season was one of unrequited promise for the young quarterback, but Johnson remains bullish on the highly talented and highly accurate passer, judging by his recent comments. Johnson's words came as Carolina signed Derrick Johnson to a contract extension worth nearly $100 million. Panthers veteran holdover Adam Thielen also sounded off on why he believes Young had 'no chance' to succeed big as a rookie.

4/22/24 What should the Carolina Panthers do in this NFL Draft? My best answer is offensive. The Panthers hold picks No. 33 and No. 39 in the NFL Draft, which begins Thursday. Helping QB Bryce Young needs to be the first priority.

4/11/24 Andy Dalton on Bryce Young: 2024 'going to be big for him'. Quarterback Bryce Young had a trying rookie season in the NFL. After the Panthers picked Young at No. 1 in last year's draft, Carolina posted a 2-15 record, fired coach Frank Reich 11 games into the campaign and got their rookie quarterback sacked 62 times.

3/28/24 Panthers' Adam Thielen gets brutally honest on why Bryce Young had no chance as rookie. Bryce Young was taken by the Carolina Panthers with the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Young won the Heisman while he was at Alabama and he has always been a tremendous quarterback. Last season, Young finished the year 315-527 through the air for 2,877 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. There is obviously a ton of pressure on Bryce Young after being the first overall pick in the NFL Draft, after a sub-par rookie season, that pressure is now being felt even more.

3/22/24 To better protect Bryce Young, signing guards Robert Hunt, Damien Lewis was a necessity for Panthers. With a new coach and GM, Carolina focused first and foremost on building up their O-line in free agency.

3/12/24 Three ways Panthers can build a respectable WR room for Bryce Young. It’s no secret that adding a legitimate No. 1 wideout for second-year QB Bryce Young is at the top of Panthers GM Dan Morgan’s to-do list.
