The Los Angeles Chargers will enter the 2025 NFL Draft with a good portion of the fanbase looking for the team to add at least one more wide receiver. The Chargers used their first-round pick in the 2023 draft on TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnston and despite finding the end zone eight times last season, he has been largely underwhelming in his first two seasons in the league. Johnston has 158 catches for 1,142 yards and 10 touchdowns after playing in 32 regular-season games for the team. Johnston logged just 38 catches for 431 yards and a couple of touchdowns during his rookie campaign, and this past season, he caught 55 passes for 711 yards and eight scores. Yes, the 23-year-old was certainly more productive in 2024, but he has still been a disappointment overall, and Lee Vowell of Bolt Beat thinks that Johnston could be playing for his job next season, naming him among three Chargers players who are on their "last straw."
