5/09/24 Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix will wear No. 10 during 2024 season. Bo Nix finally has a jersey number. The Broncos rookie quarterback will wear No. 10 during the 2024 season, the team announced Thursday. The number originally belonged to quarterback Zach Wilson, who will now wear No. 4. Jarrett Stidham will wear No. 8, a number he wore while playing at Auburn, after donning No. 4 in 2023. The No. 10 has been with Nix throughout his football career. He wore it while playing for Pinson Valley High School, where he accumulated more than 12,000 yards of offense and 161 touchdowns (127 passing and 34 rushing touchdowns). Nix, the Broncos' first-round overall pick, also wore the number during his three-year stint at Auburn and two seasons at Oregon. Nix broke Oregon's

5/08/24 Former New York Jets First-Round Pick Predicted to Show He's Not a 'Bust'. When the New York Jets drafted Zach Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, there was hope that he'd be the franchise quarterback the team was looking for. Searching for a franchise talent, Wilson did everything but succeed during his time in East Rutherford. In his three-year Jets career, the 24-year-old threw for 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions. When Aaron Rodgers went down, the lights turned to Wilson, who, again, proved he couldn't handle it.

4/23/24 Four NFL Draft storylines to watch + final QB deep dive with Derrik Klassen | The Exempt List. Charles McDonald is joined by Derrik Klassen of Bleacher Report and Reception Perception to give their final thoughts ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft on storylines to watch and this fascinating quarterback class. The duo start off with the news that Zach Wilson has been traded to the Denver Broncos. Both agree this doesn't mean a lot for anyone except Ben DiNucci, but Charles asks if the New York Jets should consider drafting Aaron Rodgers' replacement at tenth overall (or later in the draft). There are 4-5 first round picks at quarterback this year, and Derrik has charted all of them. Charles and Derrik do a final deep dive on each of the top QBs, breaking down the strengths and weaknesses of Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, Michael Penix Jr. and J.J. McCarthy. Later, Charles presents his four storylines to watch this Thursday as the 2024 NFL Draft kicks off. Charles thinks the ideal landing spot for Drake Maye is the Minnesota Vikings, and that Denver trading up is irresponsible. Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars are an ideal candidate to make a move and trade up for a wide receiver or cornerback. Finally Charles presents his take that this defensive tackle class is underrated, which sparks a conversation around how college linebackers are letting the NFL down.

Death, taxes and the New York Jets drafting but failing to develop a quarterback as this time it’s Zach Wilson sent packing. 4/22/24 Jets trade QB Zach Wilson to Broncos. Jets and Broncos do late-round pick swap

A new QB in Denver: The #Jets are trading former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson to the #Broncos, per sources. Denver is expect to send a 2024 sixth-round pick to New York for Wilson and a 2024 seventh-rounder, with the teams dividing his guaranteed camp roster bonus. (Tom Pelissero on X)

FF Today's Take: Wilson has yet to find his footing after three uninspiring years with the Jets. He'll get a change of scenery in Denver where Sean Payton is holding a casting call for quarterbacks. Jarrett Stidham is currently on the roster and the expectation is that Denver will select a QB in the upcoming draft. Wilson's fantasy value is still minimal for now.

3/26/24 Jets will keep Zach Wilson if team cannot find trade partner for quarterback, owner says. Zach Wilson's time with the New York Jets seemed to be coming to an end last month when the organization granted him permission to seek a trade. Speaking to the media at the NFL owners meetings on Monday, Johnson explained that Wilson would remain with the Jets if they are unable to find a trade partner. "If we don't trade him, we're going to keep him," Johnson said, adding that it's "possible" Wilson can still learn from Aaron Rodgers in the upcoming season. "I feel badly about Zach in some ways because last year it would've been a great – it would've been the first time he could just sit back and watch a master at work, and he's never had that," Johnson added.
