2/11/25 Chargers predicted to land nation's former rushing leader. The Los Angeles Chargers may ultimately lose J.K. Dobbins to free agency next month, so they will need to find another answer at running back. The Chargers can always peruse the open market for other answers, but they may prefer to plant their excessive cap room elsewhere to help in other problem areas. Fortunately, the NFL Draft is teeming with intriguing halfback prospects, and Josh Liskiewitz of Pro Football Focus feels Los Angeles may find its answer in Oklahoma State Cowboys running back Ollie Gordon. Liskiewitz is projecting the Chargers to land Gordon in the third round of the NFL Draft, which would be one heck of a pickup for the club.

2/04/25 Chargers deemed trade destination for 1,000-yard RB. The Los Angeles Chargers may find themselves in need of a running back this offseason, as J.K. Dobbins is slated to hit free agency, and Gus Edwards was disappointing in 2024. The Chargers have plenty of cap room to make some moves, so they may be players for a halfback in the free-agent market. Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine thinks Los Angeles may go the latter route and has identified the team as a potential trade fit for Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. "J.K. Dobbins was good when he was healthy, but injuries have been a problem for him since he came into the league," Ballentine wrote.

1/30/25 Bradley Bozeman free agency market value: Should Chargers re-sign OL?. There were any number of free-agent additions by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2024 that had ties to his brother John's team in Baltimore. The most notable were running backs J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Another was center Bradley Bozeman, who spent four years in Baltimore after being drafted by the club. Last offseason, Bozeman joined the Bolts courtesy of an economical one-year, $1.125 million dollar deal (via Spotrac).

1/26/25 Former NFL RB says J.K. Dobbins' only home is with Chargers. The Los Angeles Chargers took a risk when signing J.K. Dobbins to be the number-one running back for the 2024 season. Not that Dobbins doesn't have the talent, but that injuries have kept him from reaching his full potential. Dobbins is a free agent this offseason, and the Chargers will need to make a tough decision on whether or not to bring him back to Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Chargers proved a lot of doubters wrong with their 11-6 season that punched their ticket to the NFL Playoffs. Now, the team will be looking to build off the momentum of the 2024 season and go even further in 2025. RELATED: J.K.
