5/17/24 Cardinals' BJ Ojulari Speaks on Giving Marvin Harrison Jr. No. 18. Months of anticipation was finally settled recently with the Arizona Cardinals' No. 18 officially being transferred from BJ Ojulari to rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., as announced by the No. 4 overall pick himself. There was some doubts on whether Harrison - who wore 18 in college at Ohio State - would get the number in the pros after Ojulari took the number after being drafted in 2023 out of LSU, where the number holds special meaning. During an interview with AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban, Ojulari said the transition process was rather smooth.

5/17/24 2024 Buffalo Bills 53-man roster projection: Pre-minicamp edition. The sport has a bit of a unique scent in Western New York, one of burnt hot dogs, deep-fried chicken appendages, and spilled Labatt Blue. It's a smell that Bills Mafia will again experience in just a few short months, as the team is slated to kick off its 2024 regular season slate at Highmark Stadium against the Arizona Cardinals on September 8 at 1:00 p.m. Much has to be accomplished before the Buffalo Bills take the field in Week 1, however; the team has to work through mini-and-training camps, deciding several position battles along the way. Buffalo also has to trim its roster down from 90 to 53 men, a significant reduction that will see some undoubtedly talented and intriguing players left without a job.

5/16/24 By the numbers: Cardinals' 2024 schedule. There is quite a lot to dissect when diving in the Arizona Cardinals' 2024 schedule. Three of Arizona's first four games in 2024 are home matchups against the Los Angeles Rams (Week 2), Detroit Lions (Week 3) and Washington Commanders (Week 4). It marks just the fifth time in franchise history (2019, 2018, 2012 and 1979) that the Cardinals will play three home games in the month of September. When it comes to the Cardinals' home record in the month of September, the Cardinals are 3-8-1, winning all three of their games in 2012.

5/15/24 NFL schedule release: Cardinals face Commanders in Week 4. The Arizona Cardinals' full schedule won't drop until 5 p.m. MST on Wednesday, but that hasn't stopped matchups from being leaked ahead of time. According to multiple reports, the Cardinals' home game against the Washington Commanders and former head coach Kliff Kingsbury is slated for Week 4 this season. Now Washington's offensive coordinator, Kingsbury spent four seasons as Arizona's head coach before his firing in 2022. He landed a senior offensive analyst at USC the following year, working closely with 2024 No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams, before accepting the role as Commanders OC under new head coach Dan Quinn. Adding even more fuel to the fire is the return of former Arizona State Sun

5/15/24 NFL schedule: No international games for Cardinals in 2024. The Arizona Cardinals were not among the teams on the NFL's 2024 international schedule released Wednesday morning. Arizona seemingly had two chances to play overseas this upcoming regular season given its slate of opponents. The Cardinals could have headed to London, England, to face the Minnesota Vikings. They also could have traveled to Munich, Germany, to take on the Carolina Panthers. Instead, The Vikings will meetup with the New York Jets in Week 5. The Panthers' matchup is set for Week 10 against the New York Giants. 5/14/24 Saints To Open Preseason On West Coast, Have Joint Practices With 49ers. The Saints are expected to open their preseason up against the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers, a source confirmed to Saints News Network. New Orleans will be on the West Coast for training camp in Irvine, and they're also expected to have at least two days worth of joint practices with San Francisco before they play in Week 2 of the preseason. NOLA.com's Jeff Duncan broke the report on Tuesday morning. Saints News Network first caught wind of this possibility right before the draft, and the hope for the team was that the league would accommodate the logistics for the Saints to play two foes on the West Coast before coming home for their preseason finale.

5/13/24 Max Melton determined to prove why Cardinals drafted him. The Arizona Cardinals had their eye on Rutgers cornerback Max Melton well before they traded down eight spots to No. 43 in the second round to nab him this past April. The stars aligned for Melton and the franchise, but that didn't stop the outside noise from creeping in. While Melton checked a big box as a starting-caliber corner, there were names still on the draft board at Arizona's original second-round pick at No. 35 overall — Cooper DeJean and Kool-Aid McKinstry among them — that were graded higher and got a lot more publicity this draft cycle.

5/12/24 Cardinals' Roster Ranked Bottom Five in NFL. The Arizona Cardinals supplemented plenty of positions across the 2024 offseason, and there's a lot of hype around what the team can look like moving forward. The national perspective is still fairly low on Arizona moving into year two of the Jonathan Gannon/Monti Ossenfort regime.

5/12/24 Analyst: Cardinals Improved Most in NFC West. ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals are finishing up rookie minicamp this weekend as the offseason moves forward and progresses closer to actual football. It's been another strong offseason under the guidance of general manager Monti Ossenfort, who hopes to have collected enough talent to improve on the team's previous 4-13 record. Bleacher Report certainly believes so, dubbing the Cardinals as the most improved team out in the NFC West: "Although the Arizona Cardinals lost No. 1 wide receiver Marquise Brown in free agency and traded fellow wideout Rondale Moore to the Falcons, they bolstered their pass-catching corps in the draft by adding B/R's top-ranked prospect in Marvin Harrison Jr. The Cardinals

5/11/24 What Each Draft Pick Brings to Cardinals. The Arizona Cardinals brought in 12 total draft picks last month - what does each bring to the table? Marvin Harrison Jr. May 10, 2024; Tempe, AZ, USA; Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (18) during rookie / Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports What he brings: Alpha receiver If there is something Arizona lacked during their last eight games of 2023, it was a number one receiver. Kyler Murray was at his best when he had a go-to receiver in the clutch and when he was forced to improvise. Last year that target became Trey McBride, but having a go-to receiver much like DeAndre Hopkins to go along with McBride? We're cooking with gas now. 5/10/24 Gannon, Cardinals Welcome Rookies to Minicamp. Life is pretty sweet for the Arizona Cardinals as rookie minicamp begins. "That's not winning behavior," Jonathan Gannon said when asked if he wanted a donut - which were brought to the press room before the day started. While carbs may not be in Gannon's wheelhouse, acclimating his crop of rookies to the next stage of their career is. 5/09/24 Cardinals Reveal New Jersey Numbers. The next stage of the offseason is nearly here, which means we're one step closer to seeing the Arizona Cardinals take the field. While mini-camps and OTA's will hold us down for now, we're just a few months removed from seeing the Cardinals take the field at training camp. Like any other offseason, the Cardinals added some fresh faces in free agency and the NFL Draft, which of course means a set of new jersey numbers.
