7/31/25 Rams' Kyren Williams breaks silence on 'faith' in contract talks. With the Los Angeles Rams amid training camp in preparation for the start of the upcoming 2025 season, the team is dealing with contract disputes, like a lot of franchises around the league, with running back Kyren Williams. As the Rams and Williams engage in talks around a new contract, he would express positivity around the situation. Speaking after Thursday's practice session in training camp, Williams would appear on ESPN LA, where he was asked if there were any updates regarding negotiations. Williams would not only say that he “feels good about it,” but also that he is “faith” it will be done sooner rather than later.

7/24/25 Why Rams' Kyren Williams is Making Good Choice to Practice. Training camp has arrived, and while it is a sign that football is close to its return, it is also the time when holdouts begin for players wanting new contract extensions or re-negotiated deals. Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams could've been one of those players, but has instead chosen to participate in practice while working on a new deal. Williams, who has rushed for over 1,100 yards in each of the last two seasons, said there was no decision on whether or not he would attend training camp. Williams said that getting better as a player and being who he is as a teammate, person, or athlete is bigger than any sort of contract negotiation.

7/23/25 What Can LA Rams Expect from Former Auburn Tigers RB Jarquez Hunter?. Former Auburn Tigers star and first-team All-SEC running back Jarquez Hunter is almost set to begin his first season in the pros after being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft at pick No. 117. The Rams' current duo of fourth-year back Kyren Williams and second-year back Blake Corum is solid, but far from set in stone. Williams was easily the lead back last season with 316 rushes, but Corum was disappointing overall in a support role.

7/22/25 Kyren Williams won't hold out as Rams training camp begins amid his contract negotiations. Kyren Williams is neither holding out nor holding in while he negotiates a new contract during training camp with the Los Angeles Rams. The former Pro Bowl running back reported to camp as scheduled Tuesday at Loyola Marymount University, and he'll participate in practice this week instead of sitting out while his agent works on his deal. Williams also said he'll stay in uniform if the negotiations, which have produced progress in recent sessions, still stretch into his fourth regular season.

7/16/25 Rams' Kyren Williams Strengthens Case for Contract Extension. Since he broke into the starting lineup in 2023, Kyren Williams has been a force for the Los Angeles Rams, making him one of the best values in the NFL. As a fifth round draft pick entering the final year of his deal, Williams is making pennies compared to his fellow running back bretheren and he's ready for that to change. The Rams and Williams' representation have engaged in contract talks, but nothing has been finalized as the team is about a week away from reporting to training camp. Williams, by simply letting his work do the talking, has made his case, and his case is strong.

7/15/25 Which Three Rams Rookies Could Start By Week 18?. When playing for the Los Angeles Rams, the expectation as a young player is that you may get a chance to start sooner rather than later. Players such as Kobie Turner, Jared Verse, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, Steve Avila, and Kamren Kinchens have seen significant playing time early in their careers while emerging as key cogs on their respective sides of the ball. The 2025 Rams draft class could offer some of the same results. Six of their draft picks are of players who have a path to starting at some point in the next 24 to 36 months.

7/08/25 One Question for Los Angeles Rams Top Three RBs. Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has a misconception as a play-caller as one to open up the passing game for his quarterbacks. In reality, McVay is a stubborn coach to the run game and runs the offense through his zone-blocking system that forces his running backs to execute with vision, patience, and aggression to attack creases. This is what has made starting tailback Kyren Williams as productive as he has been the last two seasons, with at least 1,100 yards in 2023 and 2024. In 2025, he will have two running backs behind him in Blake Corum and Jarquez Hunter, looking to be productive runners in McVay's offense.
