Jack Suwinski hit a solo homer and Nick Gonzales singled in two runs as the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Chicago Cubs 3-2 on Sunday to take three of four games in the series. Mitch Keller (5-3) allowed two runs on two hits with three walks and three strikeouts over six innings. Colin Holderman and Aroldis Chapman each pitched a scoreless inning before David Bednar worked around a two-out walk in the ninth for his 10th save.

Kyle Tucker homered twice to tie for the major league lead with 15 and drove in four runs, leading the Houston Astros over the Milwaukee Brewers 9-4 on Sunday for their ninth win in 11 games. Jose Altuve hit his 37th leadoff homer in a four-run first inning and Jake Meyers had three hits for Houston, which took two of three from the Brewers and improved to 21-26 with its third straight series win.

The Angels right-hander had not pitched more than six innings in any of his first seven big league starts, but he got through 7-2/3 innings in the Angels' 4-1 victory over the Texas Rangers on Sunday. The only run was on a Corey Seager homer. The Angels (18-29) won a series for only the third time all season, and the first time against a team that had a winning record.

Alec Bohm homered and drove in five runs, Bryce Harper doubled and had two RBIs and the Philadelphia Phillies swept their sixth series of the season with a 11-5 victory over the Washington Nationals on Sunday. Kody Clemens had a pair of doubles and two RBIs for Philadelphia (34-14), which has the most wins in the majors. The Phillies tied their franchise record for the best start in the first 48 games, matching the 1976 and 1993 clubs.

5/19 1:54 PM Blake Treinen (P-LAD) Dodgers Injury Updates: Bobby Miller, Evan Phillips, Clayton Kershaw & Ryan Brasier. The Los Angeles Dodgers have dealt with the injury bug within their pitching staff early in the season, but they have been able to manage well and things are trending up. Blake Treinen recently returned to the bullpen, and he has looked fully back to form as an elite, high-leverage reliever. Walker Buehler has also made three starts since returning from a second Tommy John surgery with mixed results, but his latest outing was highly impressive with six shutout innings. As for some of the players still on the injured list, a few of those pitchers have been making notable progress.
