6/24/10Devine has been shut down by the A's and will revisit Dr. James Andrews, who performed his Tommy John surgery last April.
4/30/10Devine was transferred to the 60-day DL. He will be out until at least the beginning of June.
4/23/10Devine experienced another setback in his return from Tommy John surgery. He was preparing to face live hitters and determined the elbow wasn't quite right. Team doctors are currently evaluating the MRI taken on his elbow. He is at least another month away from returning.
4/09/10Devine threw off of a mound on Wednesday for the first time in close to a month. He is in Arizona and he continues to rehab from Tommy John surgery. Manager Bob Geren indicated that Devine is at least another month away from returning to the A's.
4/04/10Devine was placed on the DL. He is hoping to return by the middle of April.

12/03/09The A's re-signed Devine to a one-year deal.
8/16/09Devine played catch for the first time since his April elbow surgery. He still wants to be ready to pitch in spring training and break camp with the A's, but as he said today, "There's a long road ahead and a lot of patience."
4/21/09Devine underwent Tommy John surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
4/18/09Devine will visit Dr. Andrews on Monday for a third time. He underwent a CT scan and a bone scan this week. The team is expected to announce the prognosis on Tuesday.
4/09/09Devine was examined by Dr. James Andrews and as a result Devine will undergo a few more tests. Surgery seems likely for Devine, although it may not be Tommy John and rather arthroscopic surgery.
4/04/09Devine was placed on the 60-day DL with an injured right elbow. He will now miss at least the first two months of the season.
3/31/09Devine will begin the season on the DL list with his sore elbow and will miss at a minimum three weeks. Even more daunting is that Devine will visit Dr. James Andrews next week. Stay tuned.
