8/22/25 Are top arms Mick Abel and Taj Bradley about to make their Twins debuts?. After being swept at home by the lowly A's, the Minnesota Twins are tied for the second-worst record in the American League and reasons for fans to keep watching are fading fast. According to Bobby Nightengal Jr. of the Minnesota Star Tribune, right-handers Taj Bradley and Mick Abel could toe the rubber at Target Field on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Abel tied a single-game record with the St. Paul Saints when he struck out 11 batters in his last start. The right-hander, who was acquired by the Twins in the trade that sent Jhoan Duran to the Phillies, has a 1.76 ERA in 15 1/3 innings with St. Paul.

8/22/25 Joe Boyle Shelled Again in Rays' Ugly 7-4 Loss to Cardinals. First it was Taj Bradley, and then it was Shane Baz. Tampa Bay Rays' starting pitching, a strength of this franchise for nearly two decades, is suddenly a mess. Boyle had another bad outing — a rapid departure from the eye-popping start to his career — giving up six runs in four innings in a 7-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.

8/06/25 Twins deadline pickup Taj Bradley pitches well in St. Paul Saints debut. Taj Bradley, the 24-year-old right-hander the Twins acquired for Griffin Jax in one of their many pre-deadline trades, pitched well for Triple-A St. Paul in his organizational debut on Wednesday. Bradley went six innings, allowing one earned run on five hits and no walks. Of his 73 pitches, 47 were strikes and eight resulted in swings and misses. Bradley's four-seam fastball got up to 97.6 miles per hour, and he mixed in plenty of cutters, curveballs, and splitters.

7/30/25 Taj Bradley Shows the Tampa Bay Rays What They Are Missing in 2025 Triple-A Debut. There's no doubt Taj Bradley must have felt he had something to prove to the Tampa Bay Rays, who optioned him to the Triple-A Durham Bulls on July 24. Facing the Gwinnett Stripers (Atlanta Braves affiliate), Bradley threw seven no-hit innings in his first Triple-A appearance in the minors in 2025, He walked two batters and struck out three, tossing 89 pitches – 56 for strikes – before being lifted. Bradley, 24, started the season with the Rays and recorded a 6-6 mark with a 4.61 ERA in 21 games, all starts.

7/29/25 My Two Cents: Rays Pitcher Joe Boyle Takes Center Stage, This Time It's For Good. We've talked all year about the Tampa Bay Rays riding their five-man rotation all season. Taj Bradley has been struggling of late, and the 24-year-old right-hander has lost his job with Tampa Bay. It's center stage, and Boyle, a 25-year-old who pitched collegiately at Notre Dame and was the best pitcher in Triple-A this season, is ready for all of it. Acquired from the Athletics in the offseason as part of the Jeffrey Springs trade, this will be his second appearance at Yankee Stadium.

7/25/25 Gameday Preview (Friday): Rays Visit Reds to Open Three-Game Series. After dropping a home series to the American League-worst Chicago White Sox, the Tampa Bay Rays (53-50) will look to right the ship as they travel to Great American Ball Park to face the Cincinnati Reds (53-50) on Friday. Wednesday's 11-9 loss to the White Sox was a gut punch for Tampa Bay, so much so that starting right-hander Taj Bradley was demoted to Triple-A Durham after another brutal outing. Now 1.5 games behind the Boston Red Sox for the third wild card spot in the American League, the Rays look to snap a four-game losing streak on the road. Their last road win came against the Detroit Tigers on July 9. Toeing the rubber for Tampa Bay on Friday is starting right-hander Zack Littell. Littell
