2/09/25 | Giants' Mike Kafka passed over for Saints head coach job: report. The New York Giants will seemingly run it back with both coordinators under head coach Brian Daboll for the 2025 season. Despite being a finalist for the New Orleans Saints head coach vacancy, Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka reportedly was passed over. In what has become the expectation over the last few weeks, the Saints are reportedly expected to hire Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, per Adam Schefter of ESPN . This doesn't come as much of a surprise. Kafka was never viewed as the favorite to land the gig with the Saints even though he did make it deep into the process.
