2000Ordaz was successful at every level in the minor leagues. Unfortunately, when he got to the majors, he made a ton of errors and didn't hit very well to boot. If he calms down a little, he can have a decent average, but with basically no power and very little speed. The Cardinals traded him to Arizona in December, but he was designated for assignment at the end of spring training and picked up by the Royals. He will be used as a back-up for Kansas City.
