| 3/27/06 | The Cardinals reassigned Daubach to AAA-Memphis. He has no fantasy value. |
| 3/09/06 | Daubach hit his second homerun of the spring yesterday, a three run shot against Washington. Daubach is a non-roster invitee competing for a job as a reserve infielder/pinch hitter. He must continue to impress throughout spring training to have any hope of making the team and is only valuable in very deep NL-only leagues. |
| 12/21/05 | The Cardinals signed Daubach to a minor-league contract. |
| 7/16/05 | Mets designated Daubach for assignment. |
| 6/15/05 | Mets purchased the contract of Brian Daubach from Triple-A Norfolk. He'll probably get a couple of starts at DH over the rest of the week, but he isn't worth picking up in NL-only leagues. |
| 3/09/05 | Mets signed Daubach to a minor league contract. |
| 6/09/04 | Red Sox sent outright the contract of first baseman Brian Daubach to Triple-A Pawtucket.
Surprising. Daubach was hitting just .227 in 75 at-bats, but it was a strong .227 since he had 10 extra-base hits and 10 walks. This means that Cesar Crespo and Andy Dominique will get to stick around for now, but both remain top candidates for demotions once Trot Nixon and Ellis Burks return. |
| 4/27/04 | Red Sox purchased the contract of first baseman-outfielder Brian Daubach from Triple-A Pawtucket. |
| 4/27/04 | Red Sox will call up Brian Daubach from Triple-A Pawtucket to take Ellis Burks' spot on the active roster.
Daubach did a wise thing accepting his assignment to Pawtucket, probably because he realized Burks was a big injury risk. He'll get a chance to DH against an occasional lefty, and unlike Burks he's able to play the outfield while Trot Nixon is still out. |
| 4/14/04 | Red Sox sent first baseman Brian Daubach outright to Triple-A Pawtucket.
Daubach has accepted the assignment, so unless Jack Cust is picked up from Baltimore, there's a good chance that he'll be back in the majors before long.
|
| 4/11/04 | Red Sox designated first baseman Brian Daubach for assignment.
This could be taken as a sign that the Red Sox are about to acquire Jack Cust. Either that or they intend to bring back Daubach once they can go back to 11 pitchers. As is, they're left without a quality left-handed bat on the bench.
|
| 4/03/04 | Red Sox purchased the contract of Brian Daubach. He will be used off the bench meaning very little fantasy value. |
| 12/29/03 | The Red Sox have re-signed Daubach to a minor-league contract. He will fight for a roster spot during spring training. |
| 12/10/03 | The White Sox put Daubach on waivers today for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release. |
| 7/05/03 | Daubach hit a home run in his third consecutive game on Friday. His playing time was supposed to drop considerably with the acquisition of Carl Everett, but the Sox will have a hard time taking him out of the lineup as long as he's swinging such a hot bat. |
| 7/02/03 | As it stands now, Daubach won't see much action for the remainder of the season. The White Sox apparently plan to use Carl Everett at DH most of the time. Dump him. |
| 6/21/03 | Daubach is likely to get the call at first base over Frank Thomas, who is 0-for-4 against Clement with four strikeouts and a walk.
|
| 3/26/03 | The White Sox purchased Daubach's contract from the minors today. He will be on their Opening Day roster. |

| 6/17/02 | Daubach has been mired in a slump with only 15 hits in his last 80 at bats. With Manny close to returning, Daubach will see significantly less playing time. |
| 5/22/02 | Daubach will get starts in left, 1b, and dh, allowing him to hit cleanup for the Sox every game. |
| 5/19/02 | In the five games batting cleanup filling in for the injured Ramirez, Daubach has hit .421 with a homer and 7 RBI's. He will continue to bat 4th in the Red Sox lineup. |
| 4/27/02 | With the struggles of Tony Clark, Daubach could start to see more at bats in the 1b/DH role. |
| 3/25/02 | With the additions of Henderson and Clark, Daubach appears to be the odd man out for playing time at 1B, DH, and outfield. He will see a limited number of at bats in a part time role. |
| 2/22/02 | Daubach has been working out in the outfield so far this spring. He could see some at-bats replacing Manny Ramirez if he gets injured at some point during the year. |
| 1/11/02 | The Red Sox anticipate Daubach getting about 400 at-bats ths season. He should play some at first base as well as DH. |
| 12/04/01 | Manager Joe Kerrigan does not expect to see a decrease in playing time for Daubach even with Tony Clark now at first base. |
| 11/26/01 | The Red Sox will likely use Daubach in left field or at DH in 2002 now that they have signed first baseman Tony Clark. |

| 5/13/01 | Daubach has a jammed thumb and was kept out of the lineup today. He should return for tomorrow's game. |
| 4/01/01 | Daubach will platoon with Jose Offerman at first base, at least at the start of the season. |
| 3/26/01 | Daubach fouled a ball off his toe and is listed as day-to-day. He has a deep bruise, but should return to action in the next couple of days. |
| 2/23/01 | Even though Dante Bichette has been working out at first this srping, Daubach will get the majority of playing time at first base for the Red Sox. |
| 2000 | Daubach spent nine years in the minors prior to 1999 and took advantage of his opportunity in a big way. He will find his way into the lineup either at first or DH and may be able to post slightly higher numbers with more at bats this season. |
