After the first month;

Catcher
1) J. Estrada – Atl He is not hitting now, pick him up and miss this slump.
2) A.J. Pierzynski CWS – His hits, 15, have sent home 2 teammates.
3) M. Piazza - NYM His 15 hits developed 11 RBIs.
4) M. Olivo – Sea This is the season where he falls under a category – important.
5) J. Mauer – Min He is the real deal with a bat, still gentle with his knees.
6) M. LeCroy – Min Grab him, solid with the bat and will catch plenty.
7) R. Barajas – Tex The power he showed last year seems to be real.
8) D. Miller – Milw If he hit this well this early last year he’d be on a contender.
9) G. Zaun – Tor I Remember when he was a poor thought as catcher, no more.
10) J. Phillips – Lad He will be one of the better catchers, from this season on.
11) I-Rod – Det He just may be the best catcher for Fantasy Baseball.
12) P. Lo Duca – Fla He has come into his prime now.

First base
1) S. Hillenbrand – Tor He plays hard and hits yet cannot find a spot to play.
2) R. Sexson – Sea His power has shown, he hits in the clutch, batting average?
3) P. Nevin – Sdp His 17 hits have sent home 16 team members.
4) P. Feliz – Sfg If you own him, do not give him away. Position powerful.
5) J. Morneau – Min He is the next big hitter produced in Minnesota.
6) S. Casey – Cin Lets expect his BA to be robust but that’s really it.
7) J. Thome – Phi Pick him up and collect the 45 homers he will hit this season.
8) O. Sáenz – Lad If he is on your roster, nobody can help you.
9) C. Pena – Det Pick him up and collect the 35 homers he will hit this season.
10) D. Lee – Cubs At present he is numero uno at the position.
11) B. Broussard - Cle This is his “Either” “Or” season.
12) E. Hinske - Tor He has done more than Delgado so far.

Second base
1) B. Roberts - Bal A contender for the power awards right now! Outrageous start.
2) J. Kent - Lad Proving he can hit home runs for anyone with a large wallet.
3) J. Reyes - Nym He’s not injured, playing with gusto – worth the ticket price.
4) J. Vidro – Wa On a “New” team a new world sees why Vidro is a Fantasy star.
5) J. Cantu - TB Not just a power guy, he gets on-base every day too.
6) C. Counsell – AZ A team leader while among the stolen base leaders. Really.
7) J. Lugo – Min One impressive and dynamic reason why the Twins keep winning.
8) M. Scutaro - Oak He was not slated to start, they will never sit him down again.
9) A. Miles – Col Has proven to be a reliable hitter – just not for me though.
10) L. Castillo – Fla Once healthy he is a major threat now.
11) B. Boone – Sea Is exhibiting all the leadership while his bat speed has dropped.
12) T. Womack – NYY Looks bewildered, awe struck.

Shortstop
1) K. Matsui - Nym See Reyes above. Matsui is a more powerful version, less speed.
2) C. Guillen – Det Carlos is now an upper-tier player, especially if he is healthy.
3) M. Tejada – Bal He has 31 RBIs … that’s one per 3 At-bats.
4) C. Barnes – Col He will be fighting until the last at-bat for rookie honors.
5) C. Izturis – Lad He is now a proven hitter. He has become a solid upper-tier player.
6) P. Feliz – Sfg He has 22 RBIs, which is 2nd best among all SS.
7) N. Perez - Cubs Neifi is hitting at a .368 clip as a replacement player.
8) O. Vizquel – Sfg He is among the leaders in base stealers and age.
9) J. Lugo – Min One impressive and dynamic reason why the Twins keep winning.
10) O. Cabrera – Laa Not known for fast starts, keep your eye on him.
11) M. Young – Tex Expect him to continue to produce Ichiro batting averages.
12) K. Greene – Sdp He is back in one week, homers to follow soon afterwards.

Third base
1) R. Branyan – Mil Making the Reds think again, power and average.
2) A. Beltre – Sea It does not look anything like a 46 homer season here.
3) D. Wright – Nym He has 16 walks to go with his 24 hits; he is going to score runs.
4) V. Castilla – Fla No longer in Colorado, only hitting .345.
5) T. Glaus – Az The Big-Guy has stolen 3 bases so far.
6) C. Figgins – Laa He has scored 16 runs, 10 SB, 14 RBIs &.313 BA.
7) S. Hillenbrand – Tor This ‘Nobody’ has collected 22 runs scored and 43 hits.
8) B. Inge – Det He has 3 triples this year.
9) K. Youkilis – Bos Hitting 5 for 12 with 5 walks in 4 games.
10) M. Ensberg – Hou The guy is now an average player at best.
11) B. Hill – Pit He was a huge SB man in the minors, no injury, what happened?
12) M. Mora – Bal He is now amongst the very best 3B in the Game.
