Slapping hands, white, yellow blue colors. Hugging, slapping an ass and screaming in another’s face and all hollering together. A group of pitchers all jumping together. its all in the joys and an ability to feel some other fun of self-freedom .. to be a man and not consider any thing other than the “game of baseball.”

Hey, look, I’m ranting

Scot Hatteberg has as many homers as does Vernon Wells, Jeff Kent, Raul Ibanez and a few others among the bat-mighty. They have hit more shots over a wall than guys like Mike Lieberthal, Josh Phelps, Jorge Posada, Rocco Baldelli, Kevin Millar, Troy Glaus, Jason Giambi, Magglio Ordonez and a few hundred others. He has 13 home runs.

Pedro Feliz (SFG) – has 58 RBIs
B. Bonds (SFG) - has 66 RBIs
Carlos Guillen has 80 RBIs (79 Runs)
Rich Aurilla has 32 & 31 RBI/Runs = 63 combined.
G. Blum, batting 8th hitting .203 left 10 runners on base in a game.
Jaret Wright looks very good in Atlanta. Yes, he is that Wright that used to pitch for Cleveland back in the 1990s.

What’s up with Tampa Bay? It is a simple answer, Lou Pineilla. He is a rare breed of manager, one who wins games. He could be the best manager in all baseball.

Ichiro Suzuki last week had 19 hits in 32 at-bats. Those 19 hits produced just 9 Runs and one RBI and no Stolen Bases. During the past month he is constantly listed as a super pick up and as hot as the blue-flame. He did hit .469. He also did drive in a grand total 6 Runs from 53 hits and those 53 hits just managed to a Total Bases of 61. He ain’t no Crawford.

Bonds, you’re killing me. I traded a team for you. I was expecting a sure thing of around 130 RBIs, now I am hoping for 100. Who else is hitting 30 homers and has less than 70 RBIs? Sosa has 24 home runs and 55 RBIs. Bonds has 29 homers with 66 RBIs. He is number 4 in homeruns, in all the ML. He is number 34 in RBIs. I repeat, number 4 in home runs and number 34 in RBIs.

Carlos Guillen has knocked in more runs, Detroit Tiger runs, then Gary Sheffield, Jim Thome, Barry Bonds, A-Rod, and many more … think Helton too.

David Newhan, OK, the man has proven to be mobile, besides the eight doubles and 3 triples he has played third base, second base, first base, left and right fields in the outfield all while batting .370 complete with RBIs and Runs.

Eric Byrnes, I owe you an apology. I anticipated you’re style of all-hit summers and a benched second half of a season. I chose to not draft you or take any trade offers with you in them. You have proven me wrong and I want you on my team now.

How much money does Javy Lopez receive, batting a sturdy 16 homer 55 RBI .319 BA? His teammate Miquel Tejada also batting a sturdy .319 BA has slapped 21 baseballs over various fences while building an RBI total of 91 – who gets more money per hit?

Hank Blalock has more RBIs than A-Rod (75-71).

Juan Pierre has been thrown out stealing a major league leading 16 times while stealing 26 bases safely.

Carl Crawford has stolen 44 bases and he has been caught a dozen times.

The all desired Mr. Milton Bradley, he of temper tantrums, he who still does not always hustle and larger than his life contract is slamming the ball this season at a .282 clip, 15 Home Runs, 50 Runs, 51 RBIs, 11 SB, 6 CS, making him number 114th in all the ML in hits.

The Madalan Leagues were formed 5-6 years ago as a "winners only league" Yahoo Baseball league. Members must to have won a Yahoo league title. Then as time has evolved, the leagues have become more of a status attitude/league. The winners are recognized elsewhere as 'very good' I guess. I personally have never won a Madalan title. I win pretty often in other leagues. We rarely ever list for members and leagues tend to fill up fast usually within 2 days after formation announcement. These leagues can be difficult to get in to. The keeper leagues are very very hard to get in to. Competitive to the max, not a "talker" league, no arguments. No team in 5 years has totally dominated. Maybe one season but never two. A no-bullshit league, running smooth without bickering and fighting. Winners have much to be proud of.
