| 8/10/25 | Diamondbacks Give Encouraging Update on Injured Pitcher. The Arizona Diamondbacks' slew of injured pitchers offers little in the way of optimism, but according to a recent report by AZCentral's Nick Piecoro, one of Arizona's arms may be able to return this season. Right-hander Cristian Mena, who had done excellent work in a long-relief role in his limited action this season, may have a chance to get back into game action before the season's end. Mena was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain on June 7, following a brutal rain-soaked affair against the Cincinnati Reds.
