| 8/13/25 | Sac-fly is all Detroit Tigers need in win in front of 13,647 fans in Chicago. In a quick, two-hour and 19-minute game, the Detroit Tigers took care of the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. All it took was a Wenceel Perez sacrifice fly scoring Kerry Carpenter from third base in the top of the sixth inning. The game only saw seven hits, and just one base hit, which came off the bat of Spencer Torkleson, a double. The White Sox got a hit from Luis Robert and another from Curtis Mead.
