9/06/25 Imagining Red Sox If Quinn Priester Trade Never Happened. It isn't news to Boston Red Sox fans that Quinn Priester turned out to be really, really good. The 24-year-old Priester has won a franchise-record 11-straight games for the Milwaukee Brewers. Change-of-scenery situations like Priester's are impossible to judge accurately with hindsight.

The 24-year-old right-hander is in the midst of a breakout campaign and is showing why he was the 18th overall pick during the 2019 MLB Draft. Priester — who was traded from Pittsburgh to the Boston Red Sox in July 2024 — was sent to the Brewers in April, moving minor-leaguers Yophery Rodriguez and John Holobetz (plus a draft pick) to Beantown in the process.

8/28/25 MIlwaukee Brewers drop 1-run decision to Arizona. (LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers had to make last minute changes to their pitching staff Wednesday before they inevitably fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2. Right-hander Quinn Priester was scratched from his planned start Wednesday with what the team called a wrist issue. Aaron Ashby would instead start the game and pitch two innings before he was relieved by Erick Fredde, who the team signed hours before the game. Fedded talked about working with the staff to get ready for the game. https://media-cdn.socastsrm.com/wordpress/wp-content/blogs.dir/2499/files/2025/08/082725mil1-1.mp3 Where does this go from here? https://media-cdn.socastsrm.com/wordpress/wp-content/blogs.dir/2499/files/2025/08/082725mil2-2.mp3

8/19/25 Brewers' Next Franchise Cornerstone Emerging Before Our Eyes. The Milwaukee Brewers came into the season as a bit of an afterthought. The Chicago Cubs also made a handful of moves in the offseason that took their team from a borderline .500 club to a dominant postseason contender. Joel Reuter of Bleacher Report shared a lot of high praise for the Brewers' young pitcher Quinn Priester this season, even going so far as to call him one of the most improved players in baseball. "The No. 18 overall pick in the 2019 draft and a Top 100 prospect prior to the 2021 (No. 58) and 2022 (No. 88) seasons, Quinn Priester never quite delivered on lofty expectations during his time with the Pirates," Reuter wrote.

8/16/25 Brewers-Red Sox Stunner Just Led To Milwaukee History. With each passing start, the Milwaukee Brewers look more and more smart for the trade they completed early on in the season with the Boston Red Sox for Quinn Priester. Priester essentially was a throwaway in the Red Sox system. Boston had injures in the rotaton and yet the club was willing to part ways with Priester. Priester entered Saturday's tilt against the Cincinnati Reds with a 3.49 ERA and 11-2 record.

The Milwaukee Brewers are figuring out new ways to win just as quickly as the New York Mets are finding new ways to lose. The red-hot Brewers will look to remain perfect this month when they attempt to complete a sweep of the reeling Mets in the finale of a three-game series on Sunday afternoon. Right-hander Quinn Priester (11-2, 3.15 ERA) is slated to start for the Brewers against left-hander Sean Manaea (1-1, 3.52). The Brewers earned their eighth straight win Saturday night, when they scored four runs in the seventh inning of a 7-4 victory.

8/05/25 What Brewers Should Have Done At Trade Deadline, Per The Athletic. There's not much to nitpick with the Milwaukee Brewers these days. Since the last week of May, the Brewers have been running laps around the other 29 Major League Baseball teams. With how hot they've been, it wasn't shocking to see the Brewers remain mostly quiet at last week's trade deadline. After all, they'd already made two trades that have quickly paid dividends earlier in the season (Quinn Priester and Andrew Vaughn), plus they got new starting pitchers Jacob MIsiorowski and Brandon Woodruff from the minors and the injured list, respectively.
