The St. Louis Cardinals are placing outfielder Alec Burleson on the 10-day injured list with a wrist issue, The Athletic reported Friday. The team is also calling up catcher Jimmy Crooks and infielder Cesar Prieto from Triple-A Memphis, per the report. Burleson, 26, missed one game last week with a right wrist injury and was pulled from Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates with the same injury.
