2/23/26 Wyatt Langford, 2026 Fantasy Schmohawk.

Welcome back to another year of “Did I rank this guy low enough to signal to you how much I don’t want to draft them? No, I didn’t, did I? Hmm, why is it only Michael Harris II’s ranking truly shows how much I don’t like a guy?” Please, blog, may I have some more?

2/07/26 Zen And The Art Of Fantasy Baseball: Michael Harris II, My Own Personal Dukkha. My personal dukkha comes in the form of one Michael Harris II. I am sure Harris is a lovely person. I love watching him play, especially the field. And I have found his hit tool enticing for years, so in 2025, I would have been the one in your draft picking him in the 3rd round. The projections said the pick wasn’t unreasonable, he smokes the ball (HH% of over 45% for his career), and he has a surprisingly good Z-Contact% (upper 80%-range) for such a free swinger. Harris’s 30 HR / 30 SB upside is undeniable and easy to chase. Many of us in the fantasy community have also been guilty of expecting Harris’s impressive hit tool to continue to develop to the point that he is a near superstar level. I still believe that player is in there.

8/30/25 Braves Jurickson Profar Among Top Hitters in MLB Over Last Month. The second half of the Atlanta Braves' season has featured a few turnarounds that build hope for what next season could bring. Michael Harris II has been the top story, and for good reason, along with the resurgence of Marcell Ozuna and Raisel Iglesias (though their status for next season is to be determined). To the surprise of many, that run belongs to Jurickson Profar. Following the loss to the Phillies on Friday, his August stats feature a .301 average, a 1.059 OPS, nine home runs and 26 RBIs.

8/27/25 Braves power their way to series-clinching rout of Marlins. Michael Harris II and Matt Olson also homered for the Braves as they capitalized on 11 hits and 10 walks. Joey Wentz earned the win, allowing four hits, two walks and one run in 6 2/3 innings. Albies tortured Miami over the past two games, going 5-for-10 with nine RBIs to helped the Braves win the final two games of the three-game set.

8/20/25 Braves' 8-time All-Star legend, World Series Champion behind Michael Harris' hitting resurgence. The Atlanta Braves are having a surprisingly poor season—one that quite literally no one saw coming. With continued poor performance and manager Brian Snitker's contract nearing its end, it's increasingly likely he won't be re-signed. “Because of that consistent recent success, Snit would normally be afforded a 'mulligan' year—even though going from the second-best preseason World Series odds to possibly the third-best odds of winning the draft lottery is a pretty serious mulligan,” Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller wrote. “At 69, though, he's already the oldest manager in the National League by a several-year margin and was likely to retire at the end of this season, which is the last one in his current contract.”

8/20/25 White Sox, Braves to conclude wild series. It hasn't always been pretty, but this week's series between the visiting Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves has proved to be entertaining. The teams will meet again Wednesday night in the rubber match of a three-game series after Atlanta rallied from a six-run deficit to win 11-10 on Tuesday. Michael Harris II and Jurickson Profar each hit a two-run homer for Atlanta, which has won nine of its last 11 games. Profar has four homers in his last three games, while Harris is riding a 12-game hitting streak.

8/19/25 Hard Truth: Pinch Running Michael Harris II Not Why Braves Loss. This is a truth understood by many, but many more still have to heed this message. The Atlanta Braves were likely done for, even if Michael Harris II was in the game to bat one more time. Yes, it would have been nice to have had Harris up with the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the eighth. With the streak he's been on, he's on an 11-game hitting streak, it's easy to envision another big moment.

8/19/25 Brian Snitker Admits Mistake But Still Catching Heat for Michael Harris II Move. Monday night's contest between the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox was over. Unfortunately for Braves manager Brian Snitker, he couldn't re-insert center fielder Michael Harris II when the team started to mount a comeback. Snitker removed Harris for a pinch runner after the outfielder recorded his fourth hit in the eighth inning Monday night.

8/18/25 Harris Sees Braves Record Streak End, Hitting Streak Remains Alive. Standing alone in the Atlanta Braves' history books wasn't meant to be for Michael Harris II. On Sunday, he went 1-for-5 against the Cleveland Guardians to help the Braves win 5-4. On the brightside for Harris, he still has another streak going. During this run, Harris is batting .452 with a 1.286 OPS, four home runs, eight total extra-base hits and 13 RBIs.

8/17/25 Braves' Michael Harris II producing hit show against Guardians. Classic-cartoon fanatic Michael Harris II is making the most of MLB's annual Players' Weekend, both in terms of style and production. The Atlanta Braves' starting center fielder is 4-for-9 with a homer and four RBIs in the first two games of the team's series at the Cleveland Guardians, giving them a chance at a sweep Sunday afternoon. Atlanta right-hander Erick Fedde (4-12, 5.40 ERA) will oppose Cleveland left-hander Logan Allen (7-9, 3.94) in the finale as Atlanta pursues its eighth victory in its past nine games. While most players pick one specialty bat for the weekend, Harris reached out to a designer with an advance order for five bats -- and additional game equipment -- featuring his favorite cartoon characters.

8/16/25 How Michael Harris II's Batting Stance Changed the Trajectory of His Season. Michael Harris II started off this season poorly, and that may be an understatement. Just a month ago, there was some debate over whether the Atlanta Braves center fielder should be sent down to Triple-A until he got going again. Harris made some significant adjustments to his swing, going from a starting stance that had his hands chest high and feet nearly parallel to a high-held, open-footed stance that, ideally, allows him to get his hands to the ball faster and generate more power. Harris is now arguably the best-hitting centerfielder in baseball right now, leading all centerfielders in batting average (.366),  slugging (.693), wOBA (.454), OPS (1.078), hits (37), triples (3), fWAR (1.6), and a litany of other batting stats, per Running from the OPS on X.

8/15/25 Braves Michael Harris II Reaches Milestone, Pushing Toward Team Record. Michael Harris II has another big night at the plate, as the Atlanta Braves take another series from the New York Mets. According to Stathead, Harris is the first Braves hitter since Andrelton Simmons in 2014 to have a multi-hit streak lasting at least six games. During this streak, Harris is batting .500 with a .928 slugging percentage, three home runs and nine RBIs.

8/14/25 Braves announce Michael Harris milestone in big win vs. Mets. The Atlanta Braves got a much-needed lift on Thursday night as their red-hot center fielder stepped up in a key moment. In a 4-3 win over the New York Mets, Michael Harris II delivered a tying RBI double in the eighth inning that not only swung momentum Atlanta's way but also marked a major milestone with his 500th career MLB hit. The Braves took to their official X account (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the moment with a graphic and brief message honoring the 2022 NL Rookie of the Year. Harris's double tied the game at 3-3 before he scored the go-ahead run on an Ozzie Albies RBI double, completing a late comeback for the club.

8/14/25 Mets blow 6-run lead and can't gain ground on floundering Phils. NEW YORK — Michael Harris II hit a grand slam Wednesday night to cap Atlanta's biggest inning in almost five years — a nine-run outburst in the fourth that propelled the Braves to an 11-6 comeback win over the slumping New York Mets. The Braves fell behind 6-0 in a game delayed 95 minutes by rain before storming back against David Peterson and Reed Garrett (3-5). Peterson issued four free passes in the fourth, including a bases-loaded walk of Nick Allen, and gave up Jurickson Profar's three-run double before Marcell Ozuna greeted Garrett with an RBI single. Three batters later, Harris hit a 417-foot homer to straightaway center. The nine-run inning was the biggest for the Braves since Sept. 9,

7/30/25 Braves' Harris II Named NL Player of the Week. Michael Harris, II has been a polarizing figure for the Atlanta Braves this year. Harris batted 11-for-23, slashing .478/.500/1.000 with two doubles, triples, and homers, all while playing stellar defense. When asked about his sudden success, Harris seemed to adopt the “better late than never” mentality. “The only thing I can say is I find something mechanically or something that starts to get me in a groove towards the middle of the season to help me finish the season pretty well,” Harris said, via MLB.com's Mark Bowman.
