MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Trevor Megill struck out the side in the top of the 10th, and Jackson Chourio brought home placed runner Sal Frelick in the bottom of the frame to secure a 3-2 win and complete a series sweep of the NL West-leading LA Dodgers on Wednesday. Those 10th-inning heroics were made possible by former Chicago White Sox Anderw Vaughn, who brought home Issac Collins in the 9th to tie the game at 2. MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Athletics put up a pair of 9th-inning runs, but Trevor Megill still managed to nail down his second save of the season in a 5-3 victory on Friday. Christian Yelich had a pair of run-scoring singles, bringing home Jackson Chourio in the 3rd and Brice Turang in the 5th. He also produced an RBI groundout in the 7th to score Caleb Durbin. Chourio added a double and one RBI on the night. Durbin recorded two hits. Freddy Peralta pitched five innings and scattered seven hits to earn his second win of the season.
