9/26/25 Marté's home run-robbing catch was one of the best Francona says he's ever seen. Noelvi Marté might have saved the Cincinnati Reds’ playoff hopes when he robbed Pittsburgh’s Bryan Reynolds of a home run with a spectacular catch over the wall in the ninth inning of a 2-1 win. The Reds remained one game back from the New York Mets for the final NL wild card spot. Reds manager Terry Francona said that under the circumstances, the catch was one of the best plays he's ever seen.

9/03/25 Pirates' surge continues with shutout of Dodgers. Bryan Reynolds and Andrew McCutchen each homered and Joey Bart hit an RBI double to propel the host Pittsburgh Pirates to a 3-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night. Pittsburgh (63-77) has won four of its past five games and is 11-4 over its past 15, while the Dodgers (78-61) have lost four of their past five games entering Thursday's series finale. The hitting was enough to back up a stellar effort from Braxton Ashcraft, Mike Burrows (2-4), Evan Sisk, Isaac Mattson and Dennis Santana, who combined to allow just five hits in Pittsburgh's major league-leading 17th shutout this season.

8/13/25 Two homers from Bryan Reynolds not nearly enough as Pirates get swept by Brewers. Bryan Reynolds hit two homers and drove in five runs, but his performance wasn’t nearly enough in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ 12-5 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field on Wednesday afternoon.

8/10/25 Pirates Go for Series Win in Finale vs. Reds. The Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Cincinnati Reds for the fourth game this series and the final time at PNC Park this season, where they'll try and go for the series victory. The Pirates won the first two games of the series, 7-0 on Aug. 7 and a late comeback, 3-2 on Aug. 8, thanks to a go-ahead triple from Bryan Reynolds, scoring two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. Cincinnati got the win in the previous game, with a 2-1 victory on Aug. 9, thanks to a strong start from right-handed starting pitcher Nick Martinez, who allowed one run over seven innings. The Pirates made five changes to their lineup ahead of the series finale with the Reds, moving some players around and bringing others back in.

8/08/25 Bryan Reynolds' late 2-run triple rallies Pirates past Reds. Bryan Reynolds' two-out triple in the bottom of the eighth drove in the tying and go-ahead runs and led the host Pittsburgh Pirates to a 3-2 comeback win over the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night. Reynolds, who also doubled and scored the Pirates' first run in the fourth, roped a ball into right field off reliever Tony Santillan (1-4), which allowed Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Tommy Pham to score and erase a 2-1 deficit. Dennis Santana worked a scoreless ninth to pick up his seventh save and lead the Pirates to their second consecutive win over the Reds to open their current four-game series.

8/05/25 Pirates Make Five Lineup Changes vs. Giants. Bryan Reynolds returns to right field after not playing there the past three games and bat third for the Pirates. Jack Suwinski, who played the last two games in right field, takes over in center field and bats sixth in the lineup for Pittsburgh. This is the sixth game Suwinski has started in center field, last doing so in the series finale vs. the Minnesota Twins at Target Field on July 13. Suwinski hit a two-run home run and scored the winning run in the comeback, 5-4 walk-off win in the series opener over the Giants on Aug. 4.

8/01/25 Pirates accomplish insane feat in 1st inning vs. Rockies. The Colorado Rockies have had a season to forget so far, but they continue to add more and more brutal performances to the ledger as the season starts to enter its final phases. Playing against the Pittsburgh Pirates — not exactly known for stacking up the runs — in front of their home fans at Coors Field, the Rockies had a disastrous first inning. Bryan Reynolds opened the scoring for the Pirates with an RBI single in the top of the first inning before Oniel Cruz blew the game open with a monstrous 451-foot grand slam out into center field.

7/29/25 Pirates All-Star Unlikely to Get Traded. Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds is one of many on the team that have received trade interest, but he will likely stay in the same uniform when August comes around. Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette spoke on 93.7 The Fan and said that the Pirates are not going to trade Reynolds, as they won't receive much for him at the trade deadline and that it would act more as moving salary than anything else.

7/10/25 All-Star Outfielder Would Block Trade to Dodgers: Report. The Dodgers polled third, behind only the Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox. The Dodgers are well on their way to clinching a postseason berth for the 13th consecutive season, a streak that includes two World Series titles. The longest active run of success in Major League Baseball shows no signs of slowing down. At least one player who will potentially be available at the July 31 trade deadline — and could help the Dodgers — apparently has some reservations about playing in L.A. Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds has a limited no-trade clause that allows him to block a deal sending him to six teams annually.

7/08/25 Pirates Star Has Unique Trade Clause Against Yankees. 7/07/25 Blue Jays Among Six Teams on No-Trade List of Pirates Two-Time All-Star. The Toronto Blue Jays could try building for both the immediate and the future at this year's trade deadline, but one potential top target can block a trade to them thanks to his contract. Noah Hiles of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (subscription required) recently reported that while Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds has started to pop up in trade talks, he has a no-trade protection in his contract that could complicate things. Reynolds can block a deal with any of these six teams: the Blue Jays, New York Yankees, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants.

7/06/25 San Francisco Giants Among Teams Pirates Slugger Can Block in Trade. The San Francisco Giants need to add at least one more bat to their lineup before the trade deadline, but one of the more intriguing options may be off the table thanks to a no-trade clause in his contract. Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette recently reported that a no-trade protection in the contract of Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds allows him to block trades to any of the following teams: the Giants, New York Yankees, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres and Toronto Blue Jays.
