Entering Saturday, the veteran outfielder carried a .187/.299/.327 slash line with nine homers and 25 RBIs, producing an 81 wRC+ and -0.5 WAR. “I think Michael is going through it,” Roberts said earlier this week. July offered a glimpse of the hitter he's been for much of his career, as Conforto posted a .273/.342/.485 line with a 131 wRC+ and looked like one of the Dodgers' more reliable bats. Originally signed away from the rival San Francisco Giants to play left field after injuries forced a platoon situation in the 2024 playoffs, Conforto has been one of the Dodgers' least-effective bats so far in 2025, hitting a career-worst .189, including a 3-30 stretch heading into the at-bat. The Los Angeles Dodgers cruised to a 9-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday night, but the victory came with a brief injury scare involving veteran outfielder Michael Conforto.
